It is Never Too Late to Support the BSO!
Make a Gift Using Your IRA
If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free charitable donation known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA to the Beaverton Symphony Orchestra.
For those 73 or older, QCDs also count toward the year's Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). A QCD is tax-free as long as it is paid directly from the IRA to an eligible charitable organization, such as the Beaverton Symphony Orchestra.
To make a QCD, contact your IRA trustee soon so the trustee has time to complete the transaction before the end of the year.
For more information on Qualifying Charitable Distributions from your IRA, consult with your IRA administrator or your tax advisor to ensure making a QCD from your IRA is right for you.
The Beaverton Symphony Orchestra is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Tax ID number: 93-0987753.
